For the first time, scientists have seen the shock wave emanating from an exploding star in visible light. Using NASA's planet-hunting Kepler Space Telescope, researchers saw the shock wave coming from a massive star explosion (a supernova) that came into Kepler's view in 2011. The star that ended its life as a supernova is named KSN 2011d, which is nearly 500 times the diameter of the sun, and located about 1.2 billion light-years away. Both Evolution and Sony hyped Driveclub to the extreme, portraying the social racing game as if it was the next Gran Turismo. The new 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the best example of this approach. In one regard, it's clearly meant to be the successor to the 18-month-old iPad Air 2 -- it's the same size and weight and keeps the tablet's classic and most popular screen siz..>> view originalGoogle rebrands its Chromecast app to Google Cast to reflect expansion to more devices, including speakers

The company says the updated app, available for both iOS and Android, will roll out this week for all users.
